A 3D Racing video game is a genre of video game in the first-person perspective, in which the player partakes in a racing competition with any type of land, air, or sea vehicles. They may be based on anything from real-world racing leagues to entirely fantastical settings. In general, they can be distributed along a spectrum anywhere between hardcore simulations, and simpler arcade racing games.
Off-road racing is a format of racing where various classes of specially modified vehicles (including cars, trucks, motorcycles, dirt bike, ORVs and buggies) compete in races completely through off-road environments, such as 3-D rally racing games.
